In recent years Holt Farmers Club has hosted an annual day for local sixth form students.  The aim of the day is to provide an intensive introduction to farming for our Norfolk students.  This event is very close to my heart, my life long involvement in farming inspired me, with two others, to establish this event.

Last years event was well attended with approaching 300 sixth formers who learnt about topics as varied as, bio-fuels, modern arable crop production and livestock farming.

Our local farming community has always supported this event well, providing the training for the day.
